Simple Life...

Simple Life Convention! There were so many great exhibitions and things to see! I didn't get to spend much time there though; I wish I could have stayed those few hours between Khalil and Cheer's performances! There was a line that was about half a kilometer long (most likely longer than that actually) but Anita and I only waited for about 20 minutes so it wasn't as bad as we expected (but for an entrance line it was insanely long). It was so nice inside! Everything was very quaint and well organized and they had the cutest little things everywhere!

the designs for the cards were very creative! i wanted to buy a couple but I didn't have much money with me and I never got back to buying them =/

I ended up buying this awesome cute pin! It's about a mantou kid who's head is too heavy and one day he comes across a heart-shaped balloon and suddenly, he's flying! Love truly makes you fly :) (on the other hand, as Margaret mentioned, what goes up always comes down..) (we've agreed that a healthy whole-hearted marriage commitment is different though. :D)

There was a tshirt i really wanted to get but I never got back to it!!! it had a really cute mouse in a pocket and they print it right there so you can choose where you wanted it to be

And of course, the highlight of the night: Khalil Fong!!
Anita and I were still shopping around when he started and we were running to see his performance!
He sounds great live! It's possible though that I've been listening to too many terrible live performances (uhg yes I'm talking about some SM groups but I still love the boys very much either way *SIGH*) that Khalil was just like "WHOA HE ACTUALLY STAYS ON KEY" but I'd like to believe it's his pure talent as well as that :)
He shared 2 (i think) of his new songs and both of them were GREAT so everyone better buy his album!!! :D

I love his hair like that! It's kind of like a chicken's. Matches his face very much.
Wore a simple orange hoodie very modest and down-to-earth (unless it is some branded hoodie that I have no clue about, I liked his image very much)

He sings and plays AMAZING live! It almost sounds better than the recorded! Good to know that pure talent is rewarded.
He also sang two songs with Zhang Zheng Yu (if that's how you romanize it -_-) And they sounded great together!


Khalil always had some cute moves up his sleeve that were very entertaining and cute to watch :)

Upon thinking of the name..Hm Simple Life. Ha makes it sound so simple..I once read one of those chinese notebooks with random English on it that usually makes no sense at all, but once I read something that said:

It's not simple to lead a simple life

First I was shocked at something from Taiwan to finally have proper grammar but I was more..intrigued I guess by the quote. As simple as it seems I guess it's just not anything simple. And isn't it ironic that we say this--lead a simple life--when its terribly "unsimple" to lead a simple life? KISS-keep it simple silly well silly you its not simple to keep it simple.
But oftentimes we create too much hassle in our own lives..unnecessary baggage..
